Ink Wash Experiment

I've played around with ink wash in the past with varying results but I've never really been satisfied with the results.  Here's a quick ink wash I did this weekend and overall, I found it to be a satisfactory experience that bears further experiments.  In the meanwhile, I'm toying around with some ideas that I'm rather excited about.  I'm feeling rather inspired by Christian's Loviatar zine and am thinking of doing something along those lines.  Time and energy will tell ;)...

    hehe, the zine bug has hit a few people. I would be lying if I hadn't thought about it myself.

    The inkwash (being an artist newb I have no idea what that means) looks great to me.

    Thanks fellas, overall, I'm pleased with the results and will probably do some more. As far as a zine goes, I've finally started a new gaming group playing 1e/OSRIC. I am looking at including some of my house rules, scenarios, artwork, fiction, etc that develops from the group and I want to encourage their participation. Coming from my punker/skater days in the 80's/90's, I was active in the zine and comix thing and I think it'd be cool do do a punk style gaming zine. But again, we'll see what develops.

  Tl;dr: Kia ora all! I don’t often post much about my personal life, but as a parent of two neurodiverse teens, I reckoned that I’d post some of my experience in gaming here on our journey. My daughter was diagnosed with autism almost a year ago and my son is dyslexic/dysgraphia with ADHD like presentation. I like pie!

Cyclopeatron made an interesting blog post which I tend to agree with. Most conent posts don't get responses but opinion posts do. I've noticed the trend in my own blogging as well. There is some incredibly interesting content being generated out there in OSR blog land. I think folks tend to react more to opinion pieces because no one really wants to 1) either say your stuff sucks on a blog post or 2) only say "that's cool man". I tell you what, I cherish the "that's cool man posts", it at tleast let's me know folks are paying attention. As to the your stuff sucks, well those are OK too as long as they tell me why they think my stuff sucks so I know how to try and improve it. At any rate, I like pie. It even tastes better when I had to kill an orc to get it ;).
